Reflection - My Learning Curve

This is my first experience to develop a website on my own. This module helped me to understand the strategic approach to create a website by knowing the targeted audience, awareness about the location, age group, and gender, and the aim of the website. My learning is understanding the objective of the site makes me focused and helped me to develop better strategies to achieve the set goals.

I was not very much involved in social media activities before this project. I learned the importance of social media that how our social relationship on these platforms is useful for the promotion of the business idea. I did posting on Instagram and Twitter that was a fantastic experience to share my though globally and finding the likewise people who like, share, and give feedback. Moreover, it is a kind of motivation that such social media platforms are freely available for anyone. Developing connectivity between the website and social media and within the social media account is also benefited me in the promotion campaign. I also found some similar groups that were very helpful for me to share my idea in front of a large specific audience in less time.
I found improvement in making a professional social media presence through my post, creativity in design with an aim, call to action, and strategy-based posting. I still believe that I have to learn a lot. However, I am happy to know that I found a way and see the process to carry these skills forward. This is a local business, and I am also thinking to promote using the submission of articles and website links in the popular web-based directory that may be helpful for me to get better visibility.
Using Wix was the first experience, and class learning about the mapping helped me to develop strategic and straightforward navigation for my website. From SEO point of view, I got the awareness to use google tool for analysis and keyword research. Information such as Heading - H1, H2, H3, keywords analysis, meta tag, and meta description are the core learning that I will be able to use in the future to improve my website ranking.
I feel to improve myself in the technical usage for SEO and Digital media tools. These tools will be helpful for me to keep a deep watch on my activities and engagement with the targeted audience. Moreover, I can setup specific pages to see where the bounce rate is high on m particular page, and the required solutions can be found for the same.
I want to say thanks to Emma, who gave us step by step information in just six weeks and coverup such a big module. Her confidence, way of teaching, involvement, and engagement with everyone is also a learning for me to present myself more professionally to future organization and strategic approach to make people agree with my viewpoint.
